This week in 2011, we spent a weekend in NYC with dear friends. The purpose for the trip was to see the Spiderman show on Broadway. My DH is a great U2 fan and was interested in seeing the show since they had done the music. Unfortunately, even U2 couldn’t save it and it was probably the worst show that I have ever seen. Fortunately, there were lots of other wonderful things to do in the city.
The fabric that I used for this journal quilt came from a previous trip to The City Quilter. The shop is close enough to Penn Station that I used to make a regular detour there when we lived in New Jersey.
