This wall quilt is the 4th in my “Protest” series of quilts and it was inspired by the continued protest of women advocating for equal rights. The female symbol is constructed of crazy-pieced patches in a variety of pink fabrics to represent the diversity of women. The symbol is also stuffed so that it rises from the background. The background is quilted in lines of pale pink thread radiating from the symbol to demonstrate the ripple effects that protest can have.
Washing Instructions: Because of the stuffing in this quilt, I recommend gentle hand washing, should the quilt ever need it, so that the stuffing does not bunch up.
