This wall quilt is part of Julie Brown Neu’s “Protest” series, created in 2019 and updated in 2021. It is a “quilted infographic,” in which each strip of fabric represents a year from 1990 to 2020 and each bullet-sized hole represents a person who died in a mass shooting in that year.
